General course objectives:

The overall objective of the course is to enable students to apply agile methods within project management and entrepreneurship to optimize resources and activities for prototype development of digital media content.


Learning objectives:

A student who has met the objectives of the course will be able to:
  • Apply agile project management methodologies to the development of content prototype
  • Assess project team competencies in order to develop a content prototype
  • Analyze key resources and activities in relation to business models
  • Apply effectuation methods to optimize key resources and activities
  • Model values and resources using a business model canvas
  • Model revenues and costs using a business model canvas
  • Develop a business plan for a digital media product
  • Present essential components of a digital media product business plan

Content:

The course enables the students to apply agile methods like SCRUM and effectuation. Students have the opportunity to focus their project work towards the Venture Cup Startup Competition.
